Gwynt Glas Floating Offshore Wind Farm has signed an Agreement for Lease with The Crown Estate marking a significant milestone for the project. This follows Gwynt Glas’ selection as preferred bidder by The Crown Estate in June 2025. The Agreement for Lease enables the project to now progress into the development phase and represents a key step forward in the delivery of up to 1.5GW of clean, renewable energy.
The project will be among the largest of its kind in the world, underlining the UK’s position as the leading market for floating offshore wind.
